Representative scales of LASPEX wind data

In this study, an attempt is made to identify the appropriate scales for wind data over stations covered in LASPEX experiment, which can be considered represent large-scale pattern, representative of whole area, by field experiment. The divergence was chosen purpose. mean latitudes and longitudes all five calculated represented latitude longitude respectively, central point. components at each were arbitrarily a trigonometric function wavelength distance from point, as origin. values station computed value found. same winds used compute large scale applying method devised Yanai et al. (1973). It seen that wavelengths greater than 2830 km, ratio two divergences 0.9, suggesting limiting entire area.
